Dr. Levi Porter O. D.

Dr. Porter was born and raised in Rawlins. He attended Northwest College in Powell prior to attending the University of Wyoming. Dr. Porter graduated with a degree in Exercise Physiology from UW. After a year working as a personal trainer he moved to Forest Grove, OR to attend optometry school at Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Porter graduated, with distinction, from Pacific in 2005. He completed residency training at the Roseburg, OR VA Medical Center in 2006.Dr. Porter and his wife, Kacey (a Casper native), moved to Alaska in 2006. He practiced optometry in Alaska for over seven years. With a growing family, the desire to move back home grew stronger and the Porter’s relocated in 2013. Wind City Eye Care was established in 2017 with a mission of excellence in customer service and exceptional eye health care management for residents of Casper and surrounding communities. Dr. Porter is the state representative from Wyoming for the Great Western Council of Optometry (GWCO). He is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He and his wife, Kacey, have four children: Kinley, Kamden, Kylen, and Kallan. Dr. Porter enjoys coaching his children’s soccer and basketball teams. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, mountain biking, obstacle course races, and travel.
